Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking General Practitioners to provide flexible locum sessions in Ryton across community and primary care settings. You will run autonomous clinics, manage urgent and routine care, and ensure timely follow-up within established guidelines.

Ideal candidates will be GMC-registered with NHS Performers List and bring experience in primary care, excellent diagnostic reasoning, and patient communication. Indemnity and Enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

Locum Ready is looking for Locum General Practitioners in Ryton. This role offers access to a variety of community-focused and GP-based clinical sessions, giving you the flexibility to choose work that aligns with your experience, preferred pace and weekly schedule.

You will support a range of primary care services by managing autonomous GP clinics, handling urgent care demand, providing routine appointments and completing essential clinical follow-up work. Each service provides clear guidance, structured processes and a well-managed clinical environment.
