We are currently looking for a friendly and committed GP to join our team in providing care for our diverse patient group.

Kingsgate Medical Practice is seeking a Locum to work 6-8 sessions per week from March 2025, with a view to Partnership.

We require cover on a full day Friday, with remaining sessions to be discussed.

Practice make-up:

The team currently consists of 6 GPs, 1 Salaried GP, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, and an HCA. We also have an experienced pharmacist, CPN, and Physiotherapist. The practice is run by a proactive management and admin team. As an established training practice, we support GP Registrars and Medical Students.

The practice is friendly and supportive, encouraging doctors to pursue their interests while maintaining work/life balance. We provide daily protected breaks, and our team often shares laughter and home-made cakes in the coffee room. We offer sessions with both face-to-face and telephone consultations using EMIS.

Kingsgate Medical Practice is modern, well-equipped, with a patient list of 8,600. Located centrally in Bathgate, it’s easily accessible from Edinburgh, Glasgow, and surrounding areas.

The building houses a range of allied health professionals, including District Nurses, Health Visitors, and Midwives, fostering good communication across the healthcare spectrum.
