Ayrshire Medical Group is seeking a qualified Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join a dynamic team in North Ayrshire. This role supports flexible working arrangements, with both full-time and part-time options considered, and contributes to a long-term prescribing project.

You will work closely with GP colleagues, pharmacists and other MDT members to deliver safe and effective prescribing for patients in the local area.

Formación

• Qualified pharmacist with GP prescribing capability and GPhC registration.
• Experience in GP settings or community pharmacy working with prescribers is essential.
• Willingness to contribute to a long-term prescribing/medication project.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pharmacist-led prescribing services within GP/primary care.
• Support development of prescribing projects and MDT collaboration.
• Deliver high-quality patient care with flexible working arrangements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a dynamic team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at Ayrshire Medical Group. You will be a qualified pharmacist with a qualification as a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber. Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council is essential as is previous GP experience. Locum or permanent positions are both considered. We are looking to start a long term prescribing / medication project therefore need additional resource in our team. FLEXIBLE WORKING SUPPORTED - FULL TIME OR PART TIME CONSIDERED
