Locum Ready is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics in Atherstone and surrounding areas. This role involves routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general clinic support within GP environments.

You will contribute to safe and efficient patient care by carrying out observations, assisting with clinical tasks and supporting day-to-day running of the clinic. DBS check is required; phlebotomy experience is beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Healthcare Assistant in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident performing routine patient observations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience is beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.

Aufgaben

• Conducting routine clinical observations.
• Supporting treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Performing ECGs and routine health checks.
• Assisting with phlebotomy where trained.
• Recording information accurately in clinical systems.
• Providing general assistance to nursing and clinical teams.
