Central and West Warrington PCN is seeking a GP Assistant to support GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team in a busy primary care setting. The role combines administrative duties with basic clinical tasks to improve patient access and reduce clinicians' administrative burden.

You will assist with phlebotomy, blood pressure monitoring, and health checks, while helping with care coordination and ensuring timely, effective care within the practice.

Formación

• City and Guilds Certificate completed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform phlebotomy.
• Monitor blood pressure and support hypertension review clinics.
• Provide lifestyle advice on weight, lipids, alcohol, and exercise.
• Gather information from patients.
• Understand clinical indemnity and vicarious liability.
• Maintain infection control standards.
• Keep the clinical environment well stocked.
• Administer immunisations within PCN vaccination services.
• Conduct new patient health checks.
• Participate in NHS health checks and enhanced health checks.
• Complete referral forms to ADHD, autism services, and chronic disease pathways.
• File routine results according to training and competency.
• Conduct Feno testing.
