Government Operational Research Service offers 11–13 month analytical placements across UK locations. You must be studying a numerate degree and returning to university after the placement.

You will join central government analysts and work on real policy problems with opportunities to present findings to stakeholders. Placements focus on resource allocation, forecasting, performance measurement and strategic planning, with teams across departments.

Qualifications

• You must be studying for a highly numerate degree (e.g., mathematics, engineering, chemistry, and physics) and aiming for a 2:1 or above.
• You should be able to apply quantitative and analytical skills to real-world policy problems.

Responsabilités

• Present analysis clearly in meetings and produce written reports to inform decisions.
