ROLE PURPOSE

The Governance & Market Coordination Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Governance & Market Coordination Director in the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust governance processes and seamless communication across all markets for global performance marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for assisting in the execution of communication plans, coordinating market-level activities, and ensuring adherence to established governance frameworks.

THE ROLE

The Governance & Market Coordination Manager will work closely with the Governance & Market Coordination Director, regional performance teams, media partners, the Ad Tech Lead, Performance Solutions team, and Performance Channel Leads. This role requires a strong understanding of performance marketing principles, media operations, and global market dynamics. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

OPENMIND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of global performance marketing governance processes, ensuring adherence across all markets.
  2. Support the execution of global-to-local and local-to-local communication frameworks, leveraging internal tools, AI, and general automation principles.
  3. Track and monitor media partner JBP commitments, escalating any issues to the Governance & Market Coordination Director.
  4. Lead the rollout of technologies, tools, and processes defined globally across our wider agency network.
  5. Assist in the execution of the comprehensive communication plan for all global initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
  6. Assist in monitoring performance across all markets, identifying potential issues and escalating them to the Governance & Market Coordination Director.

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  1. Proven experience in performance marketing or media operations.
  2. Strong understanding of media planning and buying processes.
  3. Experience working with media partners (Google, Meta, Amazon, Adobe, etc.) is a plus.
  4. Ability to assist in the design and implementation of operational processes.
  5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  6. Experience working in a matrixed organization and navigating stakeholder relationships.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  9. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  10. Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  12. Preferably, experience with Ad Tech and tracking implementation.
  13. Preferably, basic understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices.
