Job summary

A leading global organization is seeking a Governance Manager for its Corporate Governance team. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote from anywhere in the UK or based in London. Responsibilities include board support, maintaining registers, and ensuring compliance. Ideal candidates will have in-house governance experience and strong organizational skills. A CGI qualification is preferable.

Overview

Remote Governance Manager. We are working with a leading, award-winning global organisation to recruit a Governance Manager for its Corporate Governance team. This is a rare opportunity to join a supportive, high-performing function that provides governance support to regulated entities across jurisdictions including Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman, BVI, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mauritius. The role can be based in London or fully remote from anywhere in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end board and committee support – drafting agendas, preparing meeting packs, attending meetings and producing timely, accurate minutes.
  • Maintain statutory and non-statutory registers, manage regulatory filings and ensure compliance with global frameworks.
  • Support projects such as entity formation, restructures and cross-jurisdictional integrations.
Qualifications
  • In-house governance or company secretarial experience, ideally within a regulated TCSP environment with offshore exposure (eg Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman).
  • Strong organisational skills, stakeholder confidence and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
  • CGI qualification (or studying towards) is advantageous.
