About the Role
We are now looking to recruit a Governance Manager who will lead the delivery of Company Secretarial and governance services across the organisation. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for the Board, Non-Executive Directors, Executive Team, and Senior Leadership Team, serving as a trusted professional advisor.
This is a home-based role with flexibility to attend our offices for meetings as required. Candidates will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
Responsibilities
Governance
Develop and manage governance processes within the Onward Group to ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations. Support the Board and wider business, acting as the first contact for non-executive directors, executive, senior leadership, and colleagues. Provide advice on governance practices, emerging legislation, minute Board and Committee meetings, and reporting.
Company Secretarial
Manage company secretarial processes, including document execution, statutory records, key registers, and filings with bodies such as Companies House, the Regulator of Social Housing, and the Charities Commission.
Delivering the Service
Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to stay informed of best practices and ensure a culture of excellence within Onward.
