About the Role
Are you passionate about governance and ready to play a vital role in supporting CFA's Board and consultative committees?
As part of the Governance, Legal and Risk Services team, this newly created Governance Lead role will work as part of a team to manage and coordinate governance processes for the CFA Board and specified Committees.
Responsibilities involve preparing high-quality agendas, minutes, action registers, and annual work plans. Importantly, you will work to enhance business processes to ensure efficiency and maintain smooth workflows. This role includes supporting some volunteer-focused meetings held on pre-determined weekends (set one year in advance) and will involve occasional regional travel.

About You
We are seeking a motivated professional with a tertiary qualification in public sector administration, business, or similar with practical experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in administrative support within a large, complex organisation, including managing sensitive and high-risk activities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for fostering key relationships at senior levels.
This role requires exceptional research and writing abilities, proven organisational and planning skills, and a track record of improving systems and processes. Candidates should demonstrate initiative, analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or Diligent.
