As part of this journey, the Secretariat team is seeking a skilled Governance & Committee Manager to support its Board, executive team, and shareholders on all corporate governance matters.

This is a high-impact role with regular exposure to senior leadership, ideal for a governance professional or company secretary looking to take the next step in their career within a complex and high-profile organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic governance advice to board and committee chairs, staying ahead of regulatory and legal changes
  • Prepare and manage board and committee agendas, meeting papers, and minutes
  • Maintain governance calendars, coordinate statutory filings, and support corporate transactions
  • Lead on shareholder engagement and act as a key point of contact for governance queries
  • Deliver effective secretariat services to various governance forums across the business
  • Assist in the preparation and review of statutory accounts and filings

Candidate Profile

  • ICSA/CGI qualified (or working towards)
  • Background in company secretariat or governance, ideally within a large, regulated, or complex business
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law (especially the Companies Act)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills – confident engaging with senior executives and external advisors
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a proactive and diplomatic working style
  • Prior experience in an infrastructure, listed, or regulated environment
