Merefield House, Castleford – Hybrid working with an average of 2/3 days in office per week.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Governance and Executive Team, providing professional and efficient support to our Chief Executive, Executive Directors, Board, and Committees. This role, along with the wider team, is critical to the successful running of the business, ensuring strong governance and effective support for our Vico Executive Team.

What you’ll be doing

The successful applicant will support the Vico Executive Team and work closely with at least one Executive Director, ensuring effective time management, following up on issues, and arranging and preparing meetings. You will act as quality control by reviewing and challenging information to meet corporate standards and ensure high-quality outputs. You will also manage various committee and corporate meetings from start to finish, including preparing agendas, documents, minutes, and action lists. Meeting deadlines and being highly organized with strong communication skills are essential for this role.

What we’re looking for

  • A qualification at Level 3 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework.
  • Significant experience in administrative work within a similar environment.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior managers and directors.
  • A positive, proactive, and professional attitude in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent quality assurance skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong ICT skills and experience working digitally.
