Job Description:
  • About the role:
  • Ensure high-quality, efficient, and effective corporate governance for the trust.
  • Lead specific corporate governance projects, develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, systems, and strategies to support robust ICB corporate governance, and support the Complaints Management function where required.
  • Monitor and manage the corporate budget, developing and implementing savings plans as necessary.
  • Attend Board and Committee meetings, produce and present governance reports, and ensure delivery of required actions.
  • Produce the Annual Report, ensuring compliance with national requirements and meeting deadlines.
About You:
  • Experience in Information Governance, handling confidentiality, data protection, and IT Security in a customer-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Freedom of Information processes and standards.
  • Strong communication skills to engage NHS senior managers and Non-Executive members on complex service development and change issues.
  • Experience in negotiating on difficult and controversial issues, including performance and change management.
