12 MONTH FTC

MUST BE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

A growing digital financial services organisation is looking for a detail-driven Governance & Administration Assistant to support its senior governance and compliance processes.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives behind the scenes, ensuring key meetings run smoothly, records are accurate, and regulatory frameworks (like SMCR) are well managed.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing action logs and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Supporting the administration of the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) - keeping documentation up to date, chasing actions, and liaising with senior stakeholders
  • Helping maintain board software (eg, Diligent Boards) and supporting internal audits and workshops
  • Occasionally helping administer the company's training platform and wider business processes

What we're looking for:

  • Experience supporting Board/Executive-level meetings and producing high-quality minutes
  • Ideally, experience in financial services or another regulated industry
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Tech-savvy - comfortable with MS Office, Google Suite, and ideally board portals like Diligent
  • Discreet, professional, and highly organised with great communication skills
