Role and Responsibilities

This is a pivotal role in the development of Devoteam’s G-Cloud Strategy enabling digital cloud transformation through the Google Cloud. You will be the face of Devoteam within Google. As the leader of G-Cloud’s strategic alliance in the UK, you will:

  • Demonstrate personable partner management, building a holistic and trusted relationship with Google partner and field sales team. Manage the actions required to accelerate our partnership and ensure that Devoteam is being the best partner through driving action and a bias for results.
  • Work alongside the Google partnership go to market team in Devoteam G-Cloud, including international collaboration.
  • Develop excellent relationships with key stakeholders, for yourself and through a plan for the wider Devoteam community, ensuring Devoteam is amplified in the most compelling way within Google, to grow our business with them,
  • Lead our marketing activity, defining and managing Devoteam participation in Google marketing events, the development of joint references, manage Google internal communications, and enable our sales team through partner enablement sessions, joint account planning, marketing to Google, etc.
  • Have strong project management skills, manage initiatives and drive outcomes to a positive conclusion resulting in the achieving the FY23 Business Plan.
  • Have a high level technical understanding of Google services in particular, be able to communicate effectively the suggested solutions to all parties involved. Work with our Cloud practitioners to support the development of 6 month rolling training programmes to build the Google capabilities across the practice.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Commercial awareness, business development and sales experience
  • Strong skills in project management and/or client relationship management.
  • Excellent management reporting hygiene
  • Stakeholder management skills at all levels across the business

  • Build trusted relationships with Google UK, demonstrating how it has achieved the Devoteam growth aspirations.
  • Develop and deliver the Google partnership FY22 Business Plan.
  • Support the growth of G-Cloud’s UK Pipeline through engagement with Google partner and field sales teams.
  • Build and execute the FY22 Marketing Schedule, with the support of Devoteam’s UK & EMEA Marketing Teams.
  • Establish and leverage relationships across Google and Devoteam G-Cloud communities.
