Brown's Hotel, part of the Rocco Forte Hotels group, is London's first hotel, opening in 1832 on Albemarle Street. Your key responsibilities

Join our dynamic team as a key support role under the Purchasing Manager, where you'll play an integral part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods into our hotel operations. As a Goods Receiver, you'll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and managing the inventory of products delivered to the hotel. This role requires keen attention to detail to ensure that deliveries match the purchase orders, handle any discrepancies, and ensure the quality of the goods meets our high standards.

You'll be hands-on, working directly with the purchasing and operational teams, and be a key contributor to the hotel’s daily operations. This position involves manual handling and lifting of various items, requiring physical stamina and the ability to safely move and organize heavy goods. You'll also ensure that stock is stored properly and rotated to reduce waste, while maintaining safety standards throughout the process.

Shift Pattern: Morning shifts, 4 hours per day (6am - 10am), 20 hours per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat).

  • Manage deliveries, store products, and ensure stock rotation to reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with managers to meet service needs and maintain organization.
  • Utilize strong organization and computer skills, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
  • Deliver high-quality results and exceed expectations.
  • Provide discreet, timely service for guest satisfaction.
  • Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
