Job description

We have fantastic opportunities to work as a Goods Movement Team Leader in our Store Logistics team within Fenwick Kingston.

About the role

As a Goods Movement Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring stock is available on the floor for our customers. Your responsibilities will include unloading/loading stock, managing a team, overseeing stock movement, and handling other operational tasks such as store upkeep and fixture moves.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  1. Work with the Store Logistics Manager to prioritize daily and weekly issues and plan effectively to meet deadlines and targets.
  2. Keep the Store Logistics Manager informed of any issues and collaborate to resolve them.
  3. Establish good relationships with Retail Teams, Suppliers, Couriers, I.T., Group Administration, and Senior Management to ensure high customer service levels.
  4. Facilitate the secure, accurate, and smooth movement of stock in and out of the store.
  5. Use available systems to resolve queries, providing feedback to relevant personnel.
  6. Identify training needs through query resolution and report to your line manager.
  7. Participate in training and update training materials as needed.
  8. Unload and load stock efficiently.
  9. Deliver stock to departments and collect stock for deliveries.
  10. Communicate issues to the Store Logistics Manager and work with the team to resolve them.
  11. Manage and coordinate activities of the local delivery driver if applicable.
  12. Manage time effectively across support areas.
