Job summary

Kearsley Airways Ltd is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics operative to ensure efficient receipt, inspection, storage and delivery of goods, combining warehouse duties with driving responsibilities.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager, you will uphold safety, accuracy and customer service while supporting stock control, route planning and paperwork across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving licence appropriate for company vehicles.
• Previous warehouse or goods inwards experience.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for stock and delivery records.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving goods safely.
• FLT licence is desirable.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Experience from multi-drop deliveries is advantageous.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, verify goods against orders and notes.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Record goods received in the warehouse management system.
• Label, store, and organise products in designated locations.
• Carry out driving duties: load, transport, and deliver goods.
• Plan routes, obtain proof of delivery, and complete paperwork.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and keep vehicles clean and safe.
• Assist with stock counts, picking, packing, and loading/unloading.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
