Goods-in Team Leader

Monday-Friday (Early finish Fridays)

£30,000-£33,000

Our client is an established British manufacturer, that is renowned for making sustainable, innovative and high-quality products. Due to growth within the business they are looking for an inspirational & motivated goods-in team leader, in their warehouse.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, working alongside the goods-out team leader
  • Responsible for a team of around 10 goods-in warehouse staff
  • Manage the storage of good-in inventory - managing ISO14001 reports, recording & labelling
  • Use of an ERP System (IFS)
  • Make sure all daily deliveries are booked in accurately, managing all paperwork
  • Physical tasks - moving and lifting materials, manual handling, use of forklift trucks
  • Contribute towards implementing a new automated (ERP) warehouse management system
  • Responsible for inputting date onto the system for new items, returns, back-orders

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must be a strong man-manager, able to lead by example, motivate and influence positive change
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Ideally IFS)
  • Approachable character
  • Any experience of implementing new automated warehouse management systems would be beneficial
  • Have a "think outside the box" approach - looking at ways to improve
  • Physically fit - happy to be hands-on when needed with the team - manual handling
  • Must have an up-to-date Forklift Licence
  • Previously have worked in a busy goods-in warehouse
  • Beneficial if worked to ISO 14001 standards - managing wastage / excess materials
