GOV Jersey is recruiting for a Goods In and warehousing role within our branch operations. You will contribute to stock control, yard logistics and ensuring safe, efficient processes across the goods-in area.

We offer a full-time, permanent position with a 39-hour week, a competitive salary and a supportive team. Training and development opportunities are available, with a chance to take ownership of a key part of our branch operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in goods in, warehousing, yard or logistics.
• Experience in builders' merchant or building materials preferred.
• Strong stock control and organisational skills.
• Confident in supervising and motivating a team.
• Solid understanding of health and safety.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise the branch logistics team.
• Ensure accurate stock control and timely stock movements.
• Maintain high safety standards and compliance.
• Support training and development opportunities.

• Have experience working in Goods In, warehousing, a yard or logistics environment
• Ideally have experience within a builders' merchant or building materials environment, training can be provided

• Have a strong understanding of Health & Safety
• Be reliable, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Be willing to get involved and lead from the front
