Job summary

Burford Garden Co. is seeking a proactive Goods In and Sales Support Manager to join the management team. The role blends goods in/out operations, stock processing, warehouse management and related administration, with broader responsibilities across the business.

This is a full-time role with weekend rota work. You will promote efficient stock flow, coordinate deliveries, and support store and duty manager duties within a busy retail environment.

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and customer focused Goods In and Sales Support Manager to join our management team.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and customer focused Goods In and Sales Support Manager to join our management team.

This is a varied role combining all Goods In and Out operations, stock processing and warehouse management along with associated administration, as well as wider operational responsibilities across our business.

Please note this is a full-time role and you will be required to work weekends on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Goods Receiving, ensuring stock is processed accurately and delivered promptly to sales teams.
• Manage budgets, costs, goods receipt, and EPOS stock records to company standards.
• Ensure products meet pre-retail standards and support stocktakes, audits, and inventory control.
• Maintain health & safety, security, and compliance across warehousing and stock movement.
• Coordinate customer deliveries, stock collections, and third-party logistics providers.
• Oversee the maintenance, inspection, and legal compliance of vehicles, forklifts, and handling equipment.
• Manage waste disposal in line with environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Support wider store management activities, including meetings, communication, and Duty Manager responsibilities such as opening and closing duties.
