Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Goods in Inspector in the Oxfordshire area on a contract basis, site-based. You will work in a small, collaborative team, inspecting complex components and ensuring conformance with Part 145 specifications and customer requirements.

The role requires knowledge of aircraft operations, AS9100 and First Article Inspection, plus an associate degree or two years in aerospace/engineering. Strong logistics, MS Office skills, and QMS familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aircraft operations, materials and practices.
• MAA Part 145 or EASA Part 145; Part21 experience.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and First Article Inspection.
• Associate degree or two years of university/technical in aerospace engineering, system engineering, electromechanical or similar.
• Logistics or Inventory management.
• Customer-facing role in military or civilian aviation.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of a QMS system.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and evaluation of inspections of complex components and assemblies.
• Ensuring compliance with quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and QMS requirements.
• Inspect finished products to ensure conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specs and customer requirements.
• Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information.
• Issue Discrepancy Reports and document non-conformance issues.
• Represent the Quality Management Department.

The Role:

This role is for a Goods in Inspector someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. Youll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. Youll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Receipt and evaluation of inspections of complex components and assemblies
• Ensuring compliance with all associated quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system requirements
• Using aerospace knowledge and expertise to inspect finished products, thereby ensuring conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements
• Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information
• Issue Discrepancy Reports
• Document and record non-conformance process issues
• Represent the Quality Management Department
