Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking a Goods In Quality Inspector to join a market-leading Defence and Aerospace environment in the United Kingdom. You will perform receipt and evaluation inspections, ensuring conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and associated quality systems.

The role requires knowledge of aircraft operations, materials and practices, along with experience in traceability, non-conformance handling, and working within a QMS for logistics operations.

Qualifications

• MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 knowledge required.
• AS9100 knowledge beneficial.
• Experience with First Article Inspection advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components using pre-set inspection plans.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and QMS requirements.
• Inspect finished products to ensure conformance with Part 145 specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information.
• Issue Discrepancy Reports and assist in resolving customer complaints and supplier quality problems.
• Represent the Quality Management Department during internal meetings and modification programs.
• Knowledge of aircraft operations, materials, and practices.
• MAA/EASA Part 145 experience; Part 21 may be considered.

As the Goods In Quality Inspector, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:

• Receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans
• Ensure compliance with all associated quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system requirements
• Using aerospace knowledge and expertise to inspect finished products, thereby ensuring conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements
• Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information
• Issue Discrepancy Reports and assisting in the resolution of customer complaints and Supplier quality problems
• Document and record non-conformance process issues concerning business operations
• Represent the Quality Management Department during internal meetings, working committees and modification programs
• Knowledge of aircraft operations, materials, and practices
• Experience under MAA Part 145 or EASA Part 145. Part 21 experience could be considered
• Knowledge of AS9100 and First Article Inspection
• An associate degree, two years of university or technical school within aerospace engineering, system engineering, electro-mechanical, or similar.
• Logistic or Inventory management experience
• Experience in a customer-facing role in an aviation environment
• Working knowledge of a QMS system for logistics operations and regulatory requirements for control of inventory
• MAA/EASA or equivalent Part 145 Certification would be advantageous
