Goods In Person


£12.21 per hour plus overtime (rising after probation) and excellent benefits - 39 hrs per week, Mon to Fri (early finish on Fri), GL 12 South Gloucestershire, 28 days holiday (rising to 35 with service), Pension, bonus, parking, employee welfare scheme, life insurance. Permanent role to start ASAP.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Goods In Person to join our successful manufacturing client based in South Gloucestershire on a permanent basis. Working as part of a small and friendly team the Goods In Person / Warehouse Operator will have a background working in a similar role within a production or engineering environment and enjoy working in a varied role.



Duties of the Goods In Person / Warehouse Operator will include:




  • Unloading vehicles and putting stock away



  • Booking in goods and putting stock away

  • Checking off on system and labelling products



  • Some deburring work



  • A Forklift licence isn't essential for the role but you must be open to training to obtain this.



The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and work ethic - as well as good IT skills and excellent attention to detail. You will enjoy working in a friendly environment, with the ability to communicate with colleagues across all departments. A current Counterbalance forklift licence would be ideal, however this is not essential as training will be provided.

Job title: Warehouse Operator / Despatch Operative
Salary: £24,761 per annum(£12.21 per hour) with opportunity for overtime at time and a half.
28 rising to 35 days holiday including bank holidays, Pension, life assurance, bonus
Location: South Gloucestershire, GL12
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00 pm, Friday 8.30am to 4pm
