Job summary

Pertemps Crawley Perms is seeking a Goods In Operative in Redhill to join a busy warehouse team. The role requires hands-on forklift work (Bendi and Counterbalance) with focus on accuracy and safe processes. 6.30am–3.30pm, full-time, salary £29,000 per annum on a DOE basis.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, stock control, and packing out goods into correct locations while maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Bendi Forklift licence required (essential).
• Experience operating multi-directional forklifts preferred.
• Goods In/warehouse or material-handling experience beneficial.

Goods In Operative - Bendi & Counterbalance

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Goods In Operative to join a busy warehouse operation in Redhill. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong forklift experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and safe working practices.

The Role

• Unloading incoming deliveries using Bendi & Counterbalance forklifts
• Loading & unloading lorries safely & efficiently
• Completing daily forklift safety checks and following all site safety procedures
• Receiving & booking goods into the warehouse system
• Labelling & correctly identifying stock
• Moving & putting away stock into the correct warehouse locations
• Maintaining accurate stock levels & reporting any discrepancies
• Supporting the wider warehouse teams with day-to-day Goods In activities
• Maintaining a clean, organised & safe working environment

The Person

• Bendi Forklift & Counterbalance forklift licence - Essential!
• Experience operating multi-directional forklifts
• Experience working with in construction would be advantageous
• Previous Goods In, warehouse or material-handling experience
• Strong attention to detail & stock accuracy

• Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 3.30pm
• £29,000pa DOE
