People Solutions are looking for a goods in operative to join our client’s team based in Barnsley.

You will play a key role in managing incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse.

Day to Day Duties

• Ensure the smooth and effective running of stores
• Make sure delivery items are issued with a barcode label and all products on the pallet are labelled
• Quality check products
• Ensure all loads are safely and securely transported and unloaded
• Maintain efficient stock control and correct rotation of stock
• Ensure the Bakery shop floor has all the stock they need, working to a stock replenishing system
• Maintain a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Work well within a team and follow instructions
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Experience in a food production environment
