We are seeking a Goods In Inspector to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company specialising in advanced security detection and inspection equipment. This is a contract role covering sickness, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specified tolerances.
  • Carry out measurements and checks on components using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Identify and correct issues relating to quality, tolerances, or compliance.
  • Accurately record inspection results and maintain clear documentation.
  • Liaise with warehouse and production teams to resolve any non-conformance.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a quality inspection, goods inwards, or similar role within engineering/manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to measure tolerances accurately.
  • Competent with measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
