Job description

Our client is a manufacturer and global supplier of automatic gates, barriers, turnstiles, etc.

They are looking for a confident, competent addition to their team to work with goods in and stores, as well as packing and distribution of their products.

This will be a varied and busy role.

Responsibilities include:

1. Checking in goods and deliveries
2. Adding the goods and codes onto the system
3. Dismantling tested gates and barriers and packaging them for shipping
4. Organising logistics and collections for delivery
5. General warehouse duties (possibly using a forklift)
6. Assisting in assembly tasks alongside experienced fitters
7. Other general warehouse, assembly, and goods in tasks related to a busy environment

Candidate requirements:

• Positive attitude
• Comfortable working with general hand tools
• Capable of working in a goods in/out environment
• PC literate and able to load orders/data onto PC systems
• Ideally have prior experience operating forklift trucks (not essential)
• Flexible in taking on a variety of tasks as required within the company
