Join our Good In Team at The Compleat Food Group!

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Good In Area Supervisor to join our site in Middlesbrough.

We are looking for an experienced Area Supervisor to join our Good In team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Manufacturing Plan is achieved efficiently, to the highest standard, and within the specified timeframe. You will also manage and lead the direct reporting team, ensuring effective performance and development.

Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance of all product quality standards, ensuring they are consistently met. Compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety regulations will be a key part of your role.

Working Hours, Salary, and Location
  • 4 on & 4 off (12-hour shifts)
  • Salary: £33,758
  • Location: Middlesbrough
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed to develop a zero-accident culture.
  2. Meet packing/production plans on time and in full.
  3. Monitor and optimize machinery and labor efficiencies.
  4. Update live data to ensure optimal efficiency.
  5. Reduce waste through continuous monitoring and action plans.
  6. Analyze downtime causes and implement corrective actions.
  7. Manage attendance through ‘return to work’ interviews.
  8. Follow disciplinary procedures when necessary.
  9. Identify training and development needs within the team.
  10. Adhere to technical policies and procedures.
  11. Complete daily GMP audits and work with the Technical team to resolve issues.
  12. Promote a quality culture, ensuring products meet specifications.
  13. Work towards cost improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  14. Manage site KPIs to target levels.
  15. Participate in audits and other duties as required.
