Our Golf & Turf Machinery Mechanics report directly to the Service Manager and are key to ensuring excellent customer service by maintaining machinery.

The role involves working in our Burnley workshop and on-site, repairing, servicing, and maintaining machinery.

Experience in diagnostics and repairs of plant, trucks, motorcycles, farm machinery, forklift trucks, or ground-care machinery is preferred. Experience in green-keeping/groundsman industries with basic maintenance of golf & turf machinery is also desirable.

You will work on a variety of machinery including golf and sports turf machinery, commercial mowers, utility vehicles, compact tractors, chippers, and domestic mowing machinery.

We offer starting pay from £28,000 (experience dependent), along with support, career development, and ongoing training.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform diagnostics and repairs on golf and turf machinery.
2. Service machinery as specified.
3. Complete work to high standards both in the workshop and on-site.
4. Undertake training to develop skills and knowledge on new products and services.
5. Complete pre-delivery setup and checks on new and used machinery.
6. Mentor apprentices and trainees.

Requirements:

• Experience with plant, truck, motorcycles, farm machinery, forklift trucks, or ground-care machinery preferred.
• Ability to perform maintenance and repairs using specialized tools following technical procedures.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Extended hours and weekend work on a rotational basis.
• Full UK driving license required.
