Job Description:

This role is based within the clubhouse and supports the senior golf team with the smooth running of the Pro-shop and golf related services.

Located at the centre of resort activities, the retail and golf teams are the first point of contact for golfers, residents, visitors, members, and guests on the property. This is a sales-focused role that requires detailed knowledge of all products and services offered, with an emphasis on Pro-shop goods, merchandise, and stock. The role involves cross-departmental communication and close cooperation with the food & beverage and resort services teams to deliver seamless 5-star guest experiences.

The role operates on a shift-based system, with hours varying according to business needs. Afternoon and evening shifts are required, along with rotational weekends.

Reports to: Director of Golf

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provide a warm and welcoming environment for all patrons.
2. Assist with the daily operations of the Pro-shop and retail activities.
3. Promote and upsell Pro-shop goods to maximize sales.
4. Manage displays, stock levels, reordering, and storage.
5. Process orders, bookings, and tee-time requests via email and telephone in a friendly manner.
6. Assist with point-of-sale activities, including cash handling.
7. Maintain detailed knowledge of all site-wide products and services.
8. Promote site-wide services and facilities.
9. Communicate operational and management information to golfers.
10. Perform any additional duties required to ensure 5-star service delivery.

• Experience in golf or sports hospitality is advantageous.
