Golf Operations Team Member - Talent Pool

Brocket Hall is seeking dedicated Golf Operations Team Members to join our esteemed team at one of the UK's premier golf estates. Featuring two championship courses, The Melbourne and The Palmerston, both ranked in the UK's Top 100 parkland golf courses, along with exceptional facilities, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding experiences for our members and guests.

As a Golf Operations Team Member, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of the golf experience, making sure that all aspects of the guest journey are seamless and enjoyable.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily golf course operations, including coordinating tee times and managing bookings
  • Create a welcoming environment for members and guests, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized golf shop, managing merchandise displays and inventory
  • Support golf course and practice facility maintenance to uphold high standards of playability and presentation
  • Assist with member events and tournaments to ensure a positive participant experience
  • Collaborate with the golf services team to provide support such as bag handling, check-ins, and course guidance including tee experience and marshaling
  • Contribute to the delivery of a world-class golf academy, including events, coaching, and corporate days
  • Participate in training to enhance knowledge of golf, products, and service excellence
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all golf operations areas, including locker rooms and outside service zones
Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer service or golf roles is preferred but not essential
  • A genuine interest in golf and hospitality, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, outgoing attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth shifts
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills with effective time management and task prioritization
  • Basic golf etiquette knowledge is advantageous
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks as required
