Role Purpose
The Golf Operations Assistant will support the Golf Operations Manager to ensure smooth and efficient course operations, providing attentive service and enhancing the customer and member experience. The role includes maintaining Get Golfing’s golf management software, ‘Golf Manager’, to deliver high-quality service to members, guests, and visitors.
Overall Responsibilities
Optimize tee-time reservations to maximize revenue, ensure efficient course flow, and enhance customer experience, including implementing the ‘pairing up’ policy to increase playing opportunities. Monitor pace of play and enforce course policies.
Manage golf retail operations, ensuring the shop inventory is well presented. Maintain golf buggies, rental clubs, and equipment in excellent condition, with signed liability forms for rentals.
Provide professional customer service to members and guests, addressing inquiries and complaints promptly. Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment to improve the clubhouse and golfing experience.
Process payments, memberships, and tournament entries using the golf management system. Keep accurate records of reservations, rentals, and sales. Assist with reporting and documentation as needed.
