Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Understand and monitor the pipeline of client events, working closely with stakeholders in GSAM Client Business.
  2. Manage all aspects of a client event, collaborating with the Client and partners from Portfolio Management, Sales, Operations, and other support teams before and during the event.
  3. Coordinate, organize, and lead internal GSAM discussions; serve as a point of escalation for issues during the client account event.
  4. Partner with Sales to manage client expectations and ensure an exceptional client experience.
  5. Develop detailed project plans, set target delivery dates, and identify key milestones based on client requirements, mandate details, and service level agreements within GSAM and with support partners.
  6. Negotiate, vet, and track contractual obligations, including Investment Management Agreements, Investment Guidelines, and operational setups.
  7. Coordinate with Operations on operational implementations such as account, custodian, and counterparty setups.
  8. Keep all functional areas informed of the client account event status; escalate sensitive issues or requests to GSAM Management for resolution.
  9. Obtain necessary sign-offs from senior management across impacted functions, ensuring all prerequisites are completed before trading authorization.
  10. Contribute to efforts to enhance client experience and controls, and streamline processes and governance improvements.
