Sustainable Investing

The Sustainable Investing division focuses on growth and private equity investments in decarbonization and climate solutions. The team manages a dedicated fund, Horizon Environment and Climate Solutions I, which closed in 2022 with over $1.6 billion. We aim to deliver positive environmental impacts and long-term capital appreciation by investing in high-quality companies with strong management and supporting their development and value creation.

With the growing importance of sustainable investing, the EMEA team seeks an investment analyst or senior associate. Professionals in this group are responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments, including high-profile transactions like management buy-outs, take privates, and add-ons, playing a key role throughout the deal process and in value creation strategies.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Associates will be involved in all investment cycle aspects: sourcing, evaluating themes and opportunities, building relationships with management and industry experts, performing due diligence, structuring and closing transactions, and developing and monitoring value creation strategies for portfolio companies.
