Job summary

aion is seeking a backend engineer to advance its Compute and Inference platforms. You will write production-grade Go code, design scalable APIs, and help implement multi-cloud orchestration, resource management, and autoscaling.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of backend engineering, platform development, or distributed systems experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang with idiomatic coding, error handling and testing.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and API design principles.
• Hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and schema design.
• Familiarity with storage, messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes concepts.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain platform services across Compute and Inference platforms.
• Implement features for multi-cloud orchestration, resource scheduling, and autoscaling.
• Write production-grade code with proper abstractions and test coverage.
• Design APIs, data models, and inter-component interactions.
• Contribute to high-level design discussions and feasibility inputs.
• Develop RESTful APIs and gRPC services for platform control planes.
