Job summary

Southwick-Hill Recruitment seeks a skilled backend engineer in Greater London to partner with Product and Engineering to implement scalable Go services and maintain the codebase.

You will contribute to a microservice architecture, write well-documented APIs for cross-functional teams, and help ensure a high cadence of delivery in an agile environment while maintaining quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Golang and modern Go tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of NoSQL database technologies.
• Proven ability to build large concurrent applications.
• Experience in production-grade, large-scale environments.

• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver against our product roadmap.
• Deliver clean, scalable, and highly maintainable code.
• Manage and maintain the codebase ensuring it runs as expected.

What you will bring

• Experience working in a modern environment, utilising both Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and working with Microservices architectures
• Knowledge of NoSQL database technologies
• Demonstrable experience in building large concurrent applications
