Job summary

Randstad Digital in Burgess Hill seeks a Golang Software Engineer to design backend features within the Account domain and contribute to the Loyalty and Benefits platform. The role is permanent and full-time, offering a hybrid schedule with three days on-site.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Golang development experience, strong knowledge of microservices and REST, and a background in Scrum, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven backend development experience using a type-safe language with Golang strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of backend microservices, RESTful communication, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience in Scrum, TDD across testing tiers, and CI/CD pipelines with Git/Jenkins is expected.
• Familiarity with Agile practices including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, TDD/BDD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features within the Account domain.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to share platform knowledge and best practices.
• Contribute to the global Loyalty and Benefits platform as a Golang Software Engineer.
