Job summary

Xapien is seeking a Fullstack Engineer (Go + React) to scale and evolve its core platform in London. You’ll work directly with the Head of Engineering, combining backend services with a rich frontend, across a microservices architecture to deliver high-impact risk insights.

Role covers design, implementation, testing and collaboration with product and design teams. You’ll thrive on modern web development, maintainable code and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services in Go with microservice patterns.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, cloud platforms and CI/CD practices.
• Proven ability to design scalable frontend-backend work with React.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building scalable microservices in Go as part of the platform.
• Developing intuitive and performant React components for the frontend.
• Collaborating with product/design to translate complex needs into solutions.
• Writing clean, testable, maintainable code across the stack.
• Participating in architecture discussions and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshooting production issues and improving observability.
