As an FCA-authorised challenger credit reference agency, we're transforming how consumer credit information is reported and shared between lenders.

About the Role:

We’re seeking an outcome-focused and principled Go engineer (junior to mid-level) to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, delivering, and operating API services on AWS with some React-like SaaS UX.

As part of our small, collaborative, and highly productive engineering team, reporting to the CTO, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to every aspect of our evolving architecture using the most modern stack and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance and scalable Golang microservices and build out our new B2B SaaS UX for partners.
• Own the design, implementation, and architecture of components from concept to operation.
• Demonstrate high standards of quality, ownership, security, and taste.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of commercial software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in Go API development, and 1 year in React or similar – we use Svelte.
• Experience with secure AWS infrastructure, containers, and distributed systems, e.g., Docker, PostgreSQL Aurora, Cognito, DynamoDB, ECS.
• Proficiency in modern CI/CD practices, e.g., GitHub Actions, and experience in designing for operations, including observability, automation, and SRE principles.
• A passion for problem-solving and continuous learning with a strong bias to action.
• Fintech and early-stage experience is a plus.
• Hybrid & Flexible: Work from home with the flexibility to meet in our central London office 2-3 days per week.
