Here at Evotec we have a great opportunity for a GMP Quality & Compliance Officer (Logistics), to join our team in Milton Park, Abingdon, UK.

Role: GMP Quality & Compliance Officer (Logistics)

Role Type: Permanent

Hours:Full-time, 40 hours per week, 0800 – 1700 Monday to Friday

Salary: Competitive Salary, plus excellent benefits package

The Company has established a unique position by assembling top-class scientific experts and integrating state-of-the-art technologies as well as substantial experience and expertise in key therapeutic areas including neuronal diseases, diabetes and complications of diabetes, pain and inflammation, oncology, infectious diseases, respiratory diseases and fibrosis.

Reporting directly to the GMP Warehouse Team Leader, primary responsibilities will include :-

  • Maintain constant state of Audit Readiness: Act as a permanent phased internal auditor to ensure all procedures are up-to-date and followed
  • Elevate Quality Standards: Regularly assess, benchmark, and enhance our quality standards to achieve higher levels of operational excellence
  • Cross-Departmental Alignment: Collaborate with Production, Laboratories, Procurement, and QA/QC to ensure procedures and quality standards flow across the entire process.

You will also be responsible for :-

  • Ensure audit readiness by reviewing GMP documentation for completeness and accuracy in line with ALCOA and GDP principles; proactively obtain corrections and maintain compliance.
  • Apply a strong understanding of cGMP regulations within the broader regulatory framework, ensuring warehouse operations meet industry standards.
  • Lead and support internal and client audits, including preparation, walk through's, and follow-up on findings.
  • Drive continuous improvement (CI) and Lean initiatives by simplifying procedures, updating SOPs/IOPs, and promoting a culture of quality and efficiency.
  • Manage and participate in quality processes including deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Conduct regular QA walk-through's and process confirmations to ensure adherence to GMP standards.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects, contributing to planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GMP and industry best practices, sharing insights with colleagues.
  • Support inventory management and perform general warehouse duties as needed, ensuring operational continuity
