Job summary

Walker Cole International is seeking a Production Team Leader to head a high-performing manufacturing team in the North West. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight to meet production schedules, uphold quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have strong cGMP experience, familiarity with aseptic filling, and extensive experience in a cGMP environment, with a focus on Right First Time and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with cGMP aseptic facilities.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methods.
• Strong leadership, coaching and training record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the production team, conduct performance appraisals and coaching.
• Ensure cGMP and EHS standards are met and training records maintained.
• Record production activities and manage deviations or incidents to resolution.
• Collaborate with Engineering on maintenance, calibration and validation; track KPIs.
