Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in Ware is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join the site laboratories. You will perform product testing and analysis to ensure a consistent flow of safe and compliant products, while upholding GMP and EHS standards.

The role supports Respiratory Supply Chain within a fast-paced, collaborative team. Applicants should have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience with respiratory testing methodologies such as HPLC, with a mindset for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 A levels or equivalent qualifications (in relevant subject/discipline)
• Experience of using IT and computer systems
• Previous knowledge / experience of laboratory-work (ideally obtained from a GMP-environment)
• Experience of testing methodologies used for Respiratory e.g. HPLC testing

Responsibilities

• Carry out product testing and analysis to support the laboratory team and ensure a consistent flow of safe, efficacious, and compliant product.
• Maintain GMP and EHS compliance within the laboratory.
• Collaborate with external departments and customers to maintain supply and drive improvements in the lab.
