Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Document Editor Team Leader to lead a team of technical documentation specialists responsible for GMP documentation supporting manufacturing operations. This hands-on leadership role ensures compliance, quality, and timely delivery, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process excellence and continuous improvement.

Based on a fully site-based role, you will coach and develop the team, manage day-to-day activities, and uphold training and documentation

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team of technical documentation specialists.
• Strong understanding of GMP documentation processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across functions.
• Active problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience delivering documents to strict timelines in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Technical Administrative Team, providing direction, coaching and performance management.
• Ensure timely and right-first-time delivery of GMP documentation to support manufacturing timelines.
• Coordinate document creation activities with internal and external stakeholders; manage changes and issues.
• Provide technical guidance on content, style, formatting, and DMS usage; ensure GMP best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in documentation processes and performance.
• Train and mentor team members to build capability and collaboration across the business.
