Job summary

Oxford Biomedica (OXB) is recruiting for a GMP Support Assistant to join our Manufacturing Support team in Oxford. You will help ensure GMP compliance through routine cleaning, material transfer and waste removal, playing a key role in keeping operations compliant and efficient.

No prior advanced therapies experience is required; we value a proactive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn. You may come from hospitality, retail, or warehouse roles seeking a new career in biotech.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) and/or relevant work experience.
• Willingness to learn and commitment to personal development.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work in a structured environment and follow procedures.
• No prior GMP/pharma experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning and sanitisation of work areas, equipment and materials, to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Work in a team to complete daily tasks on schedule, helping the facility run smoothly and efficiently.
• Support the movement and organisation of equipment, consumables and materials throughout the facility, ensuring the right items are available when needed.
• Assist with stock management activities, including monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate records.
• Complete documentation and records accurately, with a strong focus on attention to detail and compliance.
• Follow all health, safety and site procedures to ensure work is completed safely and in line with regulatory requirements.
