The Team

Global Markets Credit (GMC) ensures robust credit underwriting for Global Markets lending, including financing secured by financial and physical assets. The team member will support credit underwriting and portfolio management for the EMEA ABSF portfolio, which includes auto loans, credit card receivables, equipment loans, and mortgages.

The role involves collaboration with senior and junior team members, the ABS Banking team, Rates trading, Risk partners, and other credit units to promote responsible loan growth.

Responsibilities

• Participate in transaction screening, negotiations, due diligence, and credit approval processes.
• Review transaction structures, collateral, and cash flow stress analyses.
• Monitor deals and portfolios post-close, exercising approval authority for amendments and renewals.
• Prepare and review credit memos.
• Assist with reporting, policy updates, risk scorecards, regulatory inquiries, and ad hoc projects.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with excellent academics.
• Experience in financial services, including credit risk, underwriting, structuring, or loan origination.
• Knowledge of securitization structures and macroeconomic drivers.
• Experience reviewing lending, securitization, collateral-based loans, or derivatives.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational skills, and teamwork.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn new software.
• Attention to detail.
