Job summary

Smithers Environmental Risk Sciences (ERS) Ltd, based in Harrogate, is recruiting a Quality Assurance Officer to join the busy QA Team. You will audit protocols, data, reports and processes to ensure GLP compliance and support inspections, training staff and maintaining documentation.

The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, on-site. The successful candidate will hold a science degree, have strong QA experience in GLP/regulatory environments, and be able to drive continuous improvements and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in a science field.
• Strong QA experience in GLP or regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of MHRA/OECD GLP regulations.
• Good writing, numeracy and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to train others and drive improvements.
• Experience with CSV auditing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Audit protocols, data, reports and processes for GLP and regulatory compliance.
• Report audit findings clearly to staff and management.
• Participate in facility, process and computer system audits.
• Maintain QA audit schedules, training records and controlled documents.
• Assist in sponsor and regulatory inspections.
• Provide training on SOPs and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive implementation.
