Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a GVRC Manager to drive Global VAT services across the UK, EU, and beyond. You will lead VAT engagements, deliver accurate filings, and provide expert insights while mentoring junior team members and ensuring client satisfaction.

You will be central to client communications, oversee indirect tax filings, and work with clients to understand VAT needs, while supporting RSM’s excellence and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Strong Global VAT skills, ideally from a European or global role.
• Passion for VAT process improvement and technology enablement.
• Solid experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, and similar tools.
• Excellent relationship management and the ability to handle international projects.

Responsibilities

• Delivering accurate, timely Global VAT services across UK, EU, and international markets.
• Providing expert insights on VAT returns and assuring quality in indirect tax filings.
• Becoming a trusted advisor for clients by understanding their unique VAT requirements and anticipating compliance opportunities.
• Supporting efficiency improvements by building a knowledge centre for VAT compliance within the team.
• Leading and developing junior team members in VAT and client service.

Are you ready to drive excellence in global VAT? Join our team at RSM UK as the GVRC Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping our Global VAT services across the UK, EU, and beyond. You’ll be at the heart of a dynamic team, ensuring quality and efficiency in tax reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients.

As the GVRC Manager, you’ll take the lead on VAT engagements, providing insightful analysis, quality assurance, and exceptional client service. You’ll act as the central point of contact for clients, oversee the accuracy of all indirect tax filings, and work closely with clients to understand their business models and VAT needs. Additionally, you'll mentor junior team members, ensuring their growth and supporting RSM’s commitment to excellence.
