Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a GVRC Manager to shape our Global VAT services across the UK, EU and beyond. You will lead VAT engagements, oversee indirect tax filings accuracy, and serve as the main client contact, delivering high-quality service while mentoring junior colleagues.

You’ll work in a fast-growing, collaborative environment with a focus on process improvements, technology enablement, and building a knowledge centre for VAT compliance. Hybrid working and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Global VAT expertise across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to drive process improvements and leverage technology.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Strong relationship management for international client projects.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.

Are you ready to drive excellence in global VAT? Join our team at RSM UK as the GVRC Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping our Global VAT services across the UK, EU, and beyond. You’ll be at the heart of a dynamic team, ensuring quality and efficiency in tax reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients.

As the GVRC Manager, you’ll take the lead on VAT engagements, providing insightful analysis, quality assurance, and exceptional client service. You’ll act as the central point of contact for clients, oversee the accuracy of all indirect tax filings, and work closely with clients to understand their business models and VAT needs. Additionally, you'll mentor junior team members, ensuring their growth and supporting RSM’s commitment to excellence.

You will make an impact by

• Delivering accurate, timely Global VAT services across UK, EU, and international markets.
• Providing expert insights on VAT returns and assuring quality in indirect tax filings.
• Becoming a trusted advisor for clients by understanding their unique VAT requirements and anticipating compliance opportunities.
• Supporting efficiency improvements by building a knowledge centre for VAT compliance within the team.
• Leading and developing junior team members in VAT and client service.

• Excellent relationship management and the ability to handle international projects.
