- Blue Yonder's Transformation Advisory team seeks a results-oriented supply chain professional to lead value-based engagements, discovering, enabling, and expanding customer value from Blue Yonder solutions.
Scope
- This individual will support various value-based engagements, creating thought leadership for C-level executives to define supply chain strategy, process, and solution transformation roadmaps to operationalize strategies and build a strong business case with compelling value propositions for deploying Blue Yonder Solutions.
- Utilize value engagements to drive Blue Yonder sales revenue.
- This role involves working with current and potential customers in the Retail space across the Americas and globally.
- Conduct or leverage research on prospects to define engagement strategies and assist in account planning with sales teams.
- Be part of a ~25-person global Transformation Advisory team that employs a value-based, consultative sales approach and proven methodologies to deliver value.
- This is an individual contributor role that involves constant collaboration and guidance for team members involved in engagements.
What you'll do
Research client and prospects effectively
- Perform financial analysis, peer benchmarking, and hypothesize potential supply chain improvements.
- Conduct operational data analysis to identify insights and root causes of supply chain issues.
- Research regional markets and industry dynamics, challenges, trends, and competition.
Build financial models successfully
- Create value proposition models for Blue Yonder solutions across industry subsectors.
- Develop business case and ROI models for prospects.
- Maintain data repositories for KPIs and ROI metrics.
- Develop and update tools for financial and ROI modeling.
Lead or support Strategic Opportunity Assessments (SOAs)
- Support site surveys, interviews, workshops; engage with clients’ teams to understand their objectives and challenges.
- Leverage industry and solution expertise to hypothesize on key business issues and root causes.
- Analyze operational data to validate hypotheses and benchmark performance against industry standards.
- Develop recommendations for process, governance, and IT improvements, articulating business impacts.
- Create transformational roadmaps for maximum ROI and minimal Time to Value.
Assist or lead prescriptive Point of View workshops
- Conduct discovery to understand client practices.
- Develop prescriptive recommendations for best-in-class practices.
- Create presentation materials with clear proof points and business impacts.
Support or lead Strategic Impact Assessments (SIAs)
- Quantify delivered value and ensure realization of full benefits.
- Build models to validate value delivered.
- Analyze implementation progress and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop roadmaps for deploying additional solutions for maximum ROI.
Overarching responsibilities
- Stay ahead of industry best practices through research and thought leadership.
- Guide customers on process improvements to deliver value and productivity.
- Engage with C-level executives and sales teams to position Blue Yonder solutions effectively.
What we are looking for
- 8+ years of supply chain experience in Retail
- 3+ years in value-based engagements in software and SaaS environments
- Experience in consulting or retail industry practice.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and subsectors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong benchmarking and analytical skills.
- Proven consultative and value-based selling mindset.
- Ability to solve complex problems independently.
- Action-oriented, collaborative, with a proactive attitude.
- Experience engaging with C-level executives at Fortune 100 companies.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and relationship management.
- Proficiency with analytical tools like Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate degree.
- Bi-lingual skills (Spanish preferred).
- Supply Chain certifications (APICS, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is $170,000 - $180,000 USD, plus a variable component. Salary varies based on location, skills, experience, and other factors. The role is eligible for performance bonuses or commissions.
